“This cute little photo entitled “injured porcupine” has been misnamed. The animal depicted is a HedgeHog, not a porcupine. Porcupine quills are much much longer, their snout is much shorter, and they have a long tail. There are a couple more photos which have the same problem..those of the woman’s hand holding the little guy, who gradually retreats into his defensive ball. This baby is also a HedgeHog. The mistake is a frequent one.”
